- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Inquired about cashing a check from my employer and was told that it was a $7 fee to cash a check. I told the cashier that I would consider opening an account but that fee seemed quite hefty. Rather than offer to tell me about the accounts they offered she simply shrugged and said "we charge you so we don't have to charge our customers." Well... just because I don't have an account with TD Bank does not mean I'm not their customer - only that I am not an account holder (yet) at this rate I won't ever be.By Christy Bresette, July 03, 2017
